Woodcliff Lake Police Department

Chief's Message

It has been an honor to serve the Borough of Woodcliff Lake for 31 years.  I was appointed Police Chief on January 1, 2019 and have been a member of the department since 1989.  I have the privilege to work with the finest men and women in law enforcement who are dedicated to serving our community day in and day out.   Our department is committed to providing professional service based on education, training, and kindness.  We have, and always will, provide the highest level of community service to keep our borough safe, while remaining fiscally responsible.  As you go through the website, you will be introduced to the many areas, services, and programs that your police department has to offer you.

As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, the Woodcliff Lake Police Department  continues to adapt to each new challenge that arises keeping our community and officers safe.  We truly appreciate the support and generosity of our residents over the past year.  As we move forward in 2021, we look to come out of this pandemic stronger than before and return to our in-person community service programs when deemed safe.

A longstanding need was to bring our department to an accredited police agency.  We are fully engaged in the process and look to complete by this Fall.   We will continue to post all community alerts and updated information on our website.

In these difficult times, please stay vigilant by promptly reporting suspicious activity or crimes to our department.

Thank you for your continued support.
